Marcon 31 Convention Reports

Columbus, Ohio, May 3-5, 1996

The Great Maker himself, Babylon 5 creator J. Michael Straczynski, and Richard Biggs (Dr. Stephen Franklin) and Patricia Tallman (Lyta Alexander) were guests of honor at Marcon 31. There were Babylon 5 events scheduled each day, and they even managed to get a large enough room for 2 of the events (sort of). I made it to every Babylon 5 event except the B5 vs. Star Trek panel on Friday (which JMS apparently listened to for a while) and Richard's talk on Saturday, and took lots of notes and photographs. These convention reports are based on my notes and what I can remember. Everyone was really great and had a lot of fun.

Spoiler Warning: There are spoilers up through the 3rd season episode "Shadow Dancing" in these reports. All of them have spoiler space inserted because I was posting them to the moderated newsgroup, but read at your own risk. Also a language warning: JMS is not shy about using profanity, and his talks are quite colorful.
