"BACK TO WORK IN ONE WEEK” - FACE LIFT:

The signs of aging can clearly be seen in the face as sagging jowls, fat, and loose turkey gobbler skin within the neck region. The solution to these anatomic changes is the Face and Neck Lift. Dr. Wolf is one of eight U.S. physicians initially trained by the originator of the S-Lift Face Lift technique. Dr. Wolf was subsequently invited to perform these surgeries on two of his patients at the clinic of James Fulton, M.D. Ph.D.co-inventor of Retin-A, in Newport Beach, California. The procedure begins by performing liposuction of the neck that is oftentimes complimented by performing a platysrna plication. This is the muscle that underlies the skin of the neck region and can often be seen as bands running from the chin towards the chest in the front part of the neck. If these are part of the anatomic problem, an incision is performed underneath the chin. Using a lighted retractor and laser dissection, the muscle is freed and then sutured in the midline. This provides excellent rejuvenation of the neck region. The S-lift face-lift then addresses the skin and jowl laxity through an incision in front of the ear. Liposuction is performed on the jowls and, if necessary, the nasolabial folds. The tumescent anesthetic technique provides for a bloodless dissection of the facial region. Careful marking is performed and a piece of skin is removed in front of the ear. The skin is then sutured underneath and on top to provide a nearly invisible line in front of the ear. A special dressing is placed and many patients can return to work within a week of having this procedure performed. This is due to advanced surgical techniques along with the use of vitamin and herbal products to accelerate healing and decrease the chance of bruising.
