Each
year, as a service to Hide-A-Way Hills Members, the HAH Lakes Committee holds
its annual Pontoon Boat Launch.
For a fee of $60.00,
the Lakes Committee and its many volunteers will remove a Member's boat in
the Fall, store it for the Winter, and then place it back at your dock in
the Spring. While the launch is a valuable service, it has surely
evolved into a tradition of HAH volunteerism and friendship to get the job
done!
The first stop is the Pontoon Storage below the Dam of the Lake of Four Seasons.
There were
a total of 53 boats to be launched this year.
Teams
helped load, haul, launch, pull, and dock the boats into their appropriate
locations.
Approximately 30
volunteers with the use of 5 boats allowed the job to be completed in less
than 4 hours.
